Arrears vs Savings Report

This report shows the Loan amount in arrears and the savings available for each client at a given date.

How to view the Arrears vs Savings Report.

To view the Arrears vs Savings Report you go to Loans/Portfolio Reports/Arrears vs Savings Report and the following screen appears:

• Reporting date: Enter the date till when the Arrears vs Savings Report should be generated drop down box select the date when the Trial Balance report will end e.g., "24/10/2016".
• Order by: Select from the drop down box the title by which the data in the report will be arranged. For example if you select "Cost Centre" then the report will be arranged according to the cost centree.
• Branch Code: Select a branch for which you want to generate the report for or tick the For all option to have a report for all branches.
• Geographical Area: From the drop down box, select a particular area/location/region for which you want to generate a report about. The areas should have been set as Support Files/Geographical Areas and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report on all geographical areas in the system.
• Cost Centre: From the drop down box, select the cost centre for which you want to generate a report about. The cost centre should have been set at Support files/Cost Centres and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report on all cost centres.
• Client Category 1: From the drop down box, select a client category for which you want to generate a report about. The category should have been set at Support files->Client Category 1 and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report of all categories. The same applies for Client Category 2 and Client Category 3.
• Loan Product: From the drop down box, select a loan product that you want to generate a report about. The loan product depends on what was set at System/Configuration/Products and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report on all loan products.
• Credit Officer:  Select a particular credit officer whom you want to generate a report about, this may be to see the number of Approved/Rejected/Pending loans that were handled by that officer selected or tick the For all option to have a report on all credit officers who have handled loans applications in the selected period.
• Loan Fund: From the drop down box, select a particular Loan Fund that you want to generate a report for. You will view a report showing the loan applications made against a particular fund for the selected period. The Loan Fund should have been set at System/Configuration/Funds and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to view the report for all the loan funds available in the system
• Business Sector: From the drop down box, select a business sector for which you want to generate a report about. The business sector should have been set at Support files->Business Sector and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have a report of all sectors that were granted loans in the selected period.
• Loan Category 1: From the drop down box, select a loan category for which you want to generate a report about. The category should have been set at Support files/Loan Category 1 and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report of all categories. The same applies for Loan Category 2 and Loan Category 3.
• Guarantee Items: From the drop down box, select a guarantee item for which you want to generate a report about. The items should have been set at Support files/Loan Guarantee Items  and linked to the loan application at Loans/Loan Application. You can tick the For all option to have the report for all guarantee items.
• Savings Product: From the drop down box, select the savings product that you want to generate the Arrears vs Savings Report for, e.g., "Free Savings". You may tick the Check for all option to have a report on all products that are available in the system for each client.
• Balances between: When this option is unchecked you can enter the range of savings balances that you want the Arrears vs Savings Report to display or check all for it to display for all the savings balances available.
• Include Loans with dues on reporting date:  When this option is selected, the arrears report will show only those loans that are in arrears up to the reporting date and those that are expected to be paid on that very date. In the example above, the reporting date is "24/11/2016"; therefore the arrears report will show all those loans that have not been repaid until this date.
• Include all active Loans (not only arrears):  When this option is selected, Arrears vs Savings Report will show all those loans that have outstanding balances for repayment (i.e. those with arrears as per the reporting date and those that were paid on time).
